Bickerman and Beach capture the female crocodile for a Blood Orchid experiment

Jim Bickerman and Beach capture a female giant crocodile in Black Lake, Maine, intending to crossbreed its blood with a female giant anaconda to perfect a Blood Orchid serum. They transport the croc back to their truck, where two scientists begin the dangerous crossbreeding. The plan spirals when the crocodile escapes, kills a scientist, and frees the anacondas, followed by the truck exploding and destroying part of the electric fence.

Crocodile rampage claims more lives

The escaped crocodile roams Black Lake and kills Daphne Mailer and her boyfriend. A second fatal attack claims the remaining scientist, and hatchlings terrorize a poacher by attacking and killing him. The threat from the hybrid creatures grows as more predators are unleashed.

Predators converge on Clear Lake

With the escaped crocodiles and the revived anacondas on the loose, the creatures migrate toward Clear Lake, threatening anyone nearby. The ecological danger expands beyond Black Lake as more predators reach new territory. The stage is set for a larger confrontation.

Reba becomes sheriff and summons help

Reba, now Black Lake’s sheriff, calls in U.S. Fish and Wildlife officer Will 'Tully' Tull to help recapture the escaped animals. The local response shifts from observation to active pursuit as the authorities organize a response.

Delta Gamma sorority arrives at Clear Lake

A group of sorority sisters from Delta Gamma, led by Tiffani and Amber, along with two fraternity brothers, Brett and Andrew, arrive at Clear Lake to initiate new members, including Bethany, who is Tully's daughter and Margo. The students unknowingly enter a landscape now dangerous with predators.

Slaughter at the lake: sorority girls fall to the predators

The crocodiles and anacondas turn on the visitors, feasting on several sorority girls, including Amber, and on Brett and Andrew as they try to wakeboard. Cassie escapes Jennifer’s car but is eaten by a crocodile, and Tiffani’s car is crushed by an anaconda. The survivors scatter into the forest while the predators continue to hunt.

Melissa is rescued and the evacuation begins

Deputy Ferguson finds the traumatized Melissa hiding on a boat and takes her to a hospital. In the wake of the attack, Clear Lake is evacuated as authorities scramble to control the escalating animal threat. The human toll begins to mount as the danger spreads.

Sarah Murdoch launches a final capture mission

Sarah Murdoch leads a team including Beach and Bickerman, along with mercenaries, to capture the female anaconda before it lays eggs, aiming to complete her father’s project. The mission is brutal: one mercenary is attacked by a crocodile, and Beach is forced to shoot both mercenaries after being attacked.

Confrontations on land and water

Tully and Reba are attacked by a crocodile, which is then crushed by an advancing anaconda, causing the reptile to explode. The predatory chaos continues as the anaconda escapes, and the survivors press on through a dangerous sequence of encounters.

Rescues, betrayals, and a fragile alliance

Sarah’s group steals a boat; Bickerman falls overboard and is dragged underwater by a crocodile. The remaining mercenary is killed by an anaconda. Tully and Reba kill the other anaconda and rescue Bethany, Margo, and Jane, then regroup with Ferguson as Sarah and Beach arrive. They discover two crocodiles eating a male anaconda, heightening the sense of an epic struggle.

The battle ends badly for Beach; arrest and aftermath

The female anaconda kills a crocodile, and a crocodile hurls the male anaconda into a helicopter containing Sarah's extraction team, causing a crash. Beach is swallowed by the mother reptile and dies heroically when he detonates a grenade to kill the anaconda, destroying Sarah’s chances and leaving her under arrest. The survivors regroup and mourn the losses as the operation collapses.
