While she and her friend marvel at the beauty of the sunrise, Geetha accidentally drops one of her anklets into the sea. She watches a man dive after it and believes he has drowned, an image that unsettles her and returns in recurring dreams. This incident hangs over her head like a shadow, leaving her filled with guilt and a sense that something terrible happened that she could not prevent.

Back in Chennai, Geetha’s life takes a sharper turn when she crosses paths with a rich, confident young man named Arjun Arjun in college. He captivates her with charisma and ambition, and soon he wins her heart. He makes a chilling vow: love him or he will end his life by jumping from the college rooftop. Struck by the memory of the earlier tragedy and unwilling to risk another one, Geetha agrees to give his world a chance.
