That night, Maxwell escalates the stakes by manipulating Michael through his goon Ike Aleks Paunovic. Ike is paid to uncover where Nicole and her crew are headed, and the order goes out to burn their boat. The attack is brutal and decisive, and in the chaos, Maxwell’s plan seems to be succeeding—until Ray, recognizing the fear and broken dreams in Nicole, chooses to invest everything he has by buying a new boat with his life savings. With a renewed resolve and a stronger vessel, the team heads back to sea, ready to finish what they started.

Using coordinates obtained from Michael, Maxwell’s group closes in on the treasure site and launches a coordinated assault when Nicole’s team arrives. They seize Michael, Jenny, and Sally Michal Yannai in a bid to coerce Nicole and Ray into diving for the artifacts.
