In Anakapalli, Sreenu Ram Pothineni is a clever, street-smart high school dropout who longs to marry his uncle’s daughter, Bujji. When she rejects him for lacking a basic college education, he resolves to prove himself and heads to Hyderabad to pursue further studies.

On a train to the city, he steps up to defend a group of college girls from a rowdy gang, a bold display that reveals his grit and sense of justice. At the Hyderabad college, he meets Shruthi Swathi Reddy and falls for her, while Bhavani Sonu Sood, a ruthless city gangster who loves Shruthi, begins to exert pressure and use threats to keep rivals away.

Meanwhile, Rajanna’s henchmen—led by a feared Warangal chieftain—start tracking Sreenu through the city. Bhavani intensifies his pursuit of Shruthi, and Sreenu responds by issuing a bold challenge: win Shruthi’s heart, or face the consequences.

Sreenu bravely rescues Shruthi from a kidnapping attempt by Yadayya’s gang, strengthening their bond and prompting dreams of eloping. But before they can escape, Shruthi is abducted again, and the stakes rise when Rajanna abducts Shruthi to force Sreenu’s hand, because Rajanna’s daughter Sandhya Aksha Pardasany is secretly in love with Sreenu.

Sreenu finds himself at Rajanna’s fortress, with Bhavani arriving to seize Shruthi as well.
