Their journey is interrupted when a shark attacks their boat, leaving Jack dead in the wake of the strike. After reaching land, Barb forces Jerry to dive into the water to retrieve the painting, only for the shark to claim him as well. The unfolding calamity also pulls four college students into the same dangerous web: Jill [Emanuelle Carriere], Kristen [Celine Filion], Tia [Christine Emes], and Mike [Kyle Martellacci] set out to expose illegal drilling on Kat Island.

Soon they cross paths with Doug, Barb, and Rich, and Barb’s crew pretends to be tourists as they seek help. The group stumbles upon Dr. Grant, but Barb’s true intentions surface: she reveals herself as a criminal and drags Grant into the water, where the shark consumes him.

Tia and Kristen attempt to escape by knocking out Rich, but their bid for freedom backfires and they are captured, with Kristen meeting a brutal end under the sea. The trio retreat to a woodland hideout and devise a plan, with Jill hoping Barb will show mercy if she shares the painting’s location. Barb, however, betrays that hope and schemes to secure the painting herself. Jill and Tia set out to retrieve it, while Rich hurls dynamite to fend off the shark. The plan spirals into tragedy as Tia hurls a rock at Rich, triggering the dynamite’s explosion and killing Rich. The shark then feeds on Doug and Barb, while Tia compensates with a desperate act, using dynamite to kill the shark.
