Husin Awie returns to his village, Kampung Pisang, after years working in Singapore, hoping to settle back into a quieter life. He reconnects with his close circle—Khuda [TJ Isa], Wani [Sharwani NS], and Yeh Sekupang [Arab Khalid]—as they find work together at a charcoal factory. At home, Khuda has just married Kak Limah [Delimawati], a much older woman, a union that stirs talk and curiosity among the neighbors.

Trouble erupts when Kak Limah is found dead in the garden. While Husin, Wani, and Khuda wander into the forest, they remain unaware of Kak Limah’s death in the mortal world. Meanwhile, Yeh Sekupang, the head of Kampung Pisang’s Information Bureau, manages Kak Limah’s remains and assigns Nayan [Ropie Cecupak] to oversee the body. Nayan is puzzled by the sudden death and the strange circumstances surrounding it.

Back at home, Khuda comes to Kak Limah’s house with Husin and Wani. The trio notices odd details and gradually realizes they are dealing with a restless ghost. Ustaz Solihin appears, trying to guide them, but his attempts to exorcise the spirit fail. The five of them learn that Kak Limah’s spirit has begun to disturb Kampung Pisang, and the following day her body is laid to rest.

Even after the funeral, the disturbance lingers. Yeh Sekupang remains unsettled by Kak Limah’s spiritual presence, and Ustaz Solihin resolves to banish the lingering entity. They undertake five attempts to recapture Kak Limah’s spirit, laboring for hours, but Solihin is repeatedly defeated by the vengeful ghost.

At this point, the village’s mystery deepens as a high elder from the orang bunian (elves) community, along with his entourage, descends into the human realm to explain what has happened. The spirit is revealed to be the original Nor Aini, sister of Eton, who had fallen in love with Khuda. Khuda’s decision to bring Nor Aini down to the human world without her father’s knowledge led to catastrophe, and Nor Aini’s fate drove Kak Limah’s death. The elf father warns Husin that his marriage to Eton would not fix things, and the elf entourage returns Nor Aini to their realm.

The next day, Nor Aini, joined by three other elf friends, returns to the human world and resumes troubling Husin, Wani, Khuda, and Yeh, proving that the conflict between two worlds is far from resolved. The tale blends local village life with supernatural consequence, leaving a lasting sense of unease as the spirits and the living intersect once more.

In the sleepy hamlet of Kampung Pisang, everyday life hums to the rhythm of charcoal‑kiln smoke and communal chatter, yet an old‑world belief in unseen spirits lingers in every shadow. When a villager uncovers the body of Kak Limah, the quiet rhythm is shattered and an unsettling presence begins to stir the village, casting a pall of fear that spreads faster than gossip. The atmosphere shifts from simple rural charm to a tense blend of dread and dark humor, as the community confronts something far beyond their ordinary concerns.

Returning from years in Singapore, Husin seeks a slower pace among the familiar thatched roofs and tangled mango trees, only to find himself drawn back into the tight circle of his childhood friends. Khuda, freshly married to the much older Kak Limah, works side‑by‑side with Wani and Yeh Sekupang at the local charcoal factory, their camaraderie forged through hard labor and shared jokes. Their routine is suddenly tinged with an unspoken unease, as the once‑playful banter gives way to whispered speculation about the strange events surrounding their newest neighbor.

Amid the growing unease, the village turns to Ustaz Solihin, a cleric whose calm demeanor and spiritual authority offer a glimmer of reassurance. He arrives with a quiet determination to calm the restless spirit and restore balance, rallying the villagers—Husin, Khuda, Wani, and Yeh Sekupang—to face the mystery together. Their efforts hint at deeper folklore, recalling tales of the orang bunian and forgotten pacts that blur the line between the human world and the realm of the unseen.

The film sways between light‑hearted village antics and an eerie, suspenseful undercurrent, inviting viewers to linger on the question of what lies hidden beneath the surface of everyday life. As the villagers grapple with fear, belief, and the need for truth, the story promises a delicate dance between the living and the lingering echoes of the past, leaving the audience poised on the edge of curiosity.
