In a world where tradition still holds sway over the choices of families, a handsome, ambitious sales manager finds his future already mapped out. Murli is coaxed by his father into a marriage that feels more like an obligation than a romance, uniting him with Arukani, a modest girl from a nearby village whose simple upbringing contrasts sharply with his polished city aspirations.

Eager to break free from the confines of his hometown, Murli seizes a coveted transfer that whisk’s him away to the bustling streets of Bangalore. The city’s fast‑paced rhythm, glittering offices, and stylish social circles quickly draw him into a new orbit, where he encounters Julie, a confident, modern woman whose world seems tailor‑made for his own aspirations. Their connection ignites a fresh sense of possibility, prompting Murli to envision a life far removed from the one he left behind.

As the two relationships deepen, Murli walks a precarious line between two divergent realities. The lingering presence of his first marriage hovers like an unspoken secret, threatening to upend the glossy veneer of his new existence. Meanwhile, Arukani, thrust into an unfamiliar urban landscape, must navigate a world that is both bewildering and alluring, her quiet resilience hinting at deeper currents beneath her outward simplicity.

The film gently balances humor and pathos, painting a portrait of a man caught between duty and desire, rural roots and metropolitan dreams. It invites the audience to wonder how far one can stretch the threads of identity before they fray, and whether love can truly bridge the gaps forged by circumstance and expectation.
