Gangaram promoted to encounter specialist

An orphan, Gangaram grows up to become an honest cop. DIG Bharath Nandan is impressed by his combat and shooting skills and promotes him as an encounter specialist. This promotion marks the beginning of his hard-edged approach to cleaning up the city.

Targets Talwar and Khalid

Gangaram declares his intent to dismantle the gangster networks of Talwar in the city and Khalid who operates from Malaysia. He begins building a plan and aligns with his team to take down both criminals. As his reputation grows, the power struggle with criminals and fellow officers intensifies.

Patnayak's jealousy and Gangaram's fame

ACP Patnayak grows jealous of Gangaram’s rising fame and ruthless efficiency. Gangaram’s rapid success in eliminating criminals earns public praise but breeds tension with Patnayak. The rivalry foreshadows a clash over methods and control.

The Talwar encounter and arrest

Gangaram launches the attack on Talwar but runs out of ammunition before he can fire. Patnayak arrives during the standoff and arrests him, dashing his immediate plan and leaving him disappointed. The arrest also marks a turning point in how his career will unfold.

Talwar's hospital escape and death

Talwar injures himself while attempting to escape from the hospital and is followed by Gangaram. Gangaram, along with his team, accompanies Talwar and ultimately kills him and his henchmen. This outcome vindicates his aggressive tactics while raising questions about the cost of such justice.

Kenya mission and Bharath's warning

Learning that Khalid is in Kenya for a private trip, Gangaram decides to go there to kill him. Bharath urges him to resign because the operation must stay confidential. The plan enters a gray area between pursuit and disobedience as loyalty and duty clash.

Arrest at home with Pavitra

While Gangaram is at home with his girlfriend Pavitra, Patnayak and other officers raid his house and arrest him on charges of syndicate connections. The raid ruptures his personal life and interrupts his plans to confront Khalid. The situation sets him on a path from officer to wanted man.

Transformation into Gangu Bhai

In custody, Gangaram learns that he was used by Khalid and Bharath to eliminate Talwar. He escapes and publicly reveals how he was framed despite his honesty. He rebrands himself as the gangster 'Gangu Bhai' and begins eliminating police officers connected to the failed encounter attempt.

Pavitra tortured; Patnayak killed

Patnayak tortures Pavitra to force information about Gangaram’s location. Learning this, Gangaram has Patnayak killed by one of his own henchmen while Pavitra recovers in hospital. The brutal turn cements his break with the police and his new criminal persona.

Arundhati's death at Bharath's hand

Pavitra's mother Arundhati is taken away by police officers, and Bharath—revealed as her estranged husband—asks her to help spare his life for Pavitra’s sake. She urges him to be killed, and Bharath shoots her dead. The act deepens Gangaram's thirst for revenge and fuels the vendetta against Bharath.

Khalid's location found; Bharath killed

Gangaram uses Bharath to locate Khalid in Malaysia and then kills Bharath after learning the truth. He travels to Malaysia to confront Khalid directly. There, he coerces Khalid’s henchmen, like David, to assist him in eliminating the others.

Showdown in Malaysia

Inside Malaysia, Khalid beats him and questions him, suspecting a traitor among his ranks. Gangaram fights back, killing a henchman in an ensuing chase. The confrontation climbs to a helipad where Khalid and Gangaram finally clash.

Khalid's death

Khalid reveals he has been living in Malaysia with a Mexican passport under the name Anthony. Gangaram shoots Khalid dead and ends the immediate threat. The victory seals his transformation and power in the city’s criminal underworld.
