On Natsume’s birthday, Geki Red returns from a globe-spanning trip and collides with Nunchaku Banki, while his allies, Geki Yellow and Geki Blue, surge in to back him up. In the ensuing chaos, the Gekirangers are sent into another dimension, and the Go-ongers arrive just before the Barbaric Machine Beast drifts away with its quarry. After a tense moment of miscommunication that is quickly cleared up with Geki Violet and Geki Chopper in the mix, the two teams bring the matter to SCRTC to consult Master Xia Fu, Master Xia Fu himself. There, Hant reveals a chance encounter with Miu Suto at the Kyoryuya Curry Shop, hinting at a shared past and tying the Go-ongers to Miki in an unexpected way.

Taking Xia Fu to the site, the Rangers learn that the Gaiark are after the Dōkokugan. With this revelation, the path is opened for them to pursue the threat as the Gekirangers face a brutal onslaught from Nunchaku Banki, who demands the sealed Long from Jyan. The reunion of the Gekirangers with the Go-ongers heightens the pressure, and together they manage to overwhelm the Ugatts and pin Nunchaku Banki down. In retaliation, Nunchaku Banki steals the Engine Souls, while the Pollution Ministers wheel in their mastermind, Meka, who reveals himself as the last of Rinjū Hall’s fighters. Meka uses the Engine Souls as hostages and lures Jyan into surrendering the Dōkokugan to save those souls, before dispatching the Rangers back to their own world.

As Meka pounds the Dōkokugan into an Engine Soul implanted within Nunchaku Banki, the Go-on Wings are ushered in to teach the Go-ongers the basics of the Gekijūken style. Meka, under close watch, pushes Nunchaku Banki to test his new power, with Meka overseeing the grim demonstration. In the city, the Go-on Wings and the two teams work furiously, while Long breaks from his seal, discarding his robotic vessel in a bid for total freedom and revenge. The tide shifts when the Go-on Wings return with the resurrected Rio and Mere, turning the tables on Long as he reconfigures Nunchaku Banki into a fresh form—Long Banki.

As the red heroes and the renewed Rio clash with Long Banki, Mere and the Go-on Wings press their assault on Meka. The teams combine their newfound techniques in a Super-Super Special combo to take down their foes, and though Meka seems to be destroyed, Long Banki swells in power with EngineOh G9 and GekiRinTohja Wolf standing tall to challenge him. Rio returns to offer commentary on the clash, and the battle continues with fierce determination. In the end, the heroes manage to seal Long Banki once more, and the Dōkokugan is returned to Jyan, bringing a measure of justice to the chaotic confrontation.

With the immediate danger past, Rio and Mere depart for purgatory, and Jyan hears a promise he hasn’t forgotten. The film closes on a lighter, warmer note as both teams throw a birthday party for Natsume to celebrate the momentous occasion, a reminder of friendship and shared adventures that bind their worlds together.
