In Los Angeles, a practical-minded realtor named Jonathan Harker arranges a high-stakes sale of an abandoned building nestled in a rough, gang‑dominated district. His client, Vladimir Sarkany, appears incredibly wealthy and cultured, but the deal carries a chilling edge: Sarkany is, in truth, the infamous Count Dracula. The massive $12.5 million windfall from this sale gives Jonathan the means to start a family with his wife, Lina, and life begins to look brighter—yet an unsettling thread ties the purchase to Lina from the very start.

That night, during a visit to Sarkany’s home to sign the property deed, Jonathan notices a striking painting that bears a striking resemblance to Lina. The sense of danger deepens when Quincy Morris, a friend who has faced violence at Sarkany’s hands before, warns Jonathan that the man he’s dealing with is dangerous and that he murdered his girlfriend Lucy Spencer. This warning casts a shadow over the glittering deal and plants the first seeds of doubt in Jonathan’s mind, even as the money stays tempting.

As detectives Holmwood and Varna probe Lucy’s disappearance, Dracula’s shadowy associate Renfield quietly frames Quincy for her murder, steering suspicion away from Sarkany. Jonathan invites Lina to see the painting again, hoping to reassure her, but Sarkany’s influence proves stronger than any reassurance. Lina becomes the target of a hypnotic seduction, and the couple’s ride back home breaks down in the woods, forcing them to camp out under the night sky. Sarkany uses hypnosis to control Lina and intensifies the mystery surrounding her illness, while Jonathan and Lina confront the unnerving possibility that something supernatural might be at work.

The investigation intensifies when Lucy’s corpse is discovered in a trunk, a gruesome clue that pushes Jonathan toward a harsher realization: Lina is infected with a mysterious organism that seems to grow inside her. On the run from the growing horror, Quincy pleads with Jonathan to help end Sarkany’s threats, but Jonathan clings to doubt and refuses to believe Sarkany is a vampire. Tragedy strikes when Renfield, a dangerous ally of Sarkany, runs Quincy over with a truck, killing him and removing one potential ally from Jonathan’s side.

A fierce struggle follows: Van Helsing fights valiantly but is ultimately killed, and Sarkany appears to gain the upper hand, reverting to his true vampiric form. In a final bid for freedom, Jonathan and Lina escape only to be ambushed by Sarkany one last time. They manage to drive stakes through Sarkany’s heart, and the vampire crumbles to dust, freeing Lina from his curse—yet the victory is darkened by a bitter twist. Lina, now transformed into a vampire herself, fatally bites Jonathan as retribution for the years of danger and manipulation, signaling a chilling new reality. In the aftermath, Lina asserts dominion over Sarkany’s former home, and Renfield steps into a new role at her side, hinting at a sinister future under Lina’s rule.
