Five college friends — Nikhil, Vicky, Loy, Pooja, and Nisha — set out in a car to a restaurant after their final-year exams, riding high on youth, camaraderie, and a reckless sense of freedom. But the night takes a sharp turn when [Vicky] is badly injured in a car crash and rushed to the hospital, launching a story that unfolds in a vivid flashback. In the morning that precedes the accident, [Nikhil] calls repeatedly, waiting for his friend to reach the college. Vicky feigns progress and even hides the truth, a ruse that backfires when his own father answers the phone and the truth lands hard: a harsh slap, an awkward question, and a family moment that foreshadows the intensity to come. The bitterness of that moment explodes later as a confrontation between friends turns physical: a bottle comes down on Nikhil’s aggressor, and the group drifts into a tea vendor’s place where they meet Naresh and then Loy, who has his own tensions about love and life. The group grows, with Dev and Dhulo joining the circle, each carrying their own temperament: Nikhil and Vicky are carefree and sometimes reckless in love, Loy is willing to push boundaries, Dev is a steady presence, and Dhulo is unapologetically aggressive when provoked.

Meanwhile, Loy’s life takes a more complicated turn when his father arranges a marriage to Nisha. To Loy’s chagrin, the thought of a dark-complected bride ceases to be a matter of preference once he and his friends realize Nisha is strikingly beautiful. The hope and fear of this engagement collide, but the situation shifts when Nisha expresses her wish to enroll at HD College. A family connection through [Nikhil]’s uncle helps pave the way for her admission, and soon a romance spark forms between Vicky and Nisha as well. The group all but realizes that this last day of college marks the turning point of their relationships, especially as the bonds among them grow stronger and more complicated.

As the year nears its end, Dev nudges [Nikhil] toward proposing to Pooja, but hesitation lingers. The problem isn’t only fear of rejection; it’s the sense that Pooja’s friendship with Vandana complicates the mix. Vandana — played by Vandana — is a figure from the past who adds emotional weight to the decision, and the friends counsel Nikhil to act before it’s too late.
