Omni-Naut upgrade activated and Vilgax's return revealed

Ben dons the Omni-Naut Armor and blasts into space to intercept the meteor. He enters a portal to another galaxy, and the meteor crashes back to Earth. It is revealed that Vilgax has escaped the Null Void and seeks revenge.

Ben is abducted by Incurseans and banished to the Null Void

Ben finds himself stranded in space after the portal and is captured by the Incurseans, who mistake him for Vilgax. They banish him to the Null Void.

Azmuth seizes the Omnitrix and sets a trial for Ben

In the Null Void, alien criminals attempt to seize the Omnitrix from Ben. Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix, takes the device from him. He refuses to return it until Ben proves he can save his planet even without the Omnitrix, and Ben agrees to undertake the trial.

Earth alliance with Kevin Levin and Antitrix repair

The Tennysons and Phil encounter Kevin Levin, whose Antitrix is malfunctioning. They persuade him to defend Earth in Ben's absence. In return, they promise to repair the Antitrix.

Vilgax arrives, defeats Kevin, becomes AntiVilgax

Vilgax arrives and fights Kevin, ultimately seizing the Antitrix and transforming into AntiVilgax. He begins to terraform Earth.

Trial setup: a pipe full of traps in the Null Void

Azmuth reveals the trial's setup: Ben must navigate a long pipe filled with traps before the Omnitrix countdown runs out.

Goop transformation and alien rescue during the trial

During the trial, two alien criminals attack Ben and try to steal the Omnitrix. A rift opens, one is sucked in while the other retreats; Ben saves the rescued alien by switching DNA pods, transforming into Goop. Although he does not finish the trial, Azmuth declares that saving the alien proves his worth.

Incurseans rescue Ben; return to Earth amid Vilgax and Kevin conflict

Ben is rescued by the Incurseans after helping them escape the Null Void, and they realize he is not Vilgax. They return him to Earth, where he finds Vilgax and Kevin fighting.

Vilgax defeats heroes, acquires Omni-Kix Key, becomes Alien V

Vilgax overpowers Ben and Kevin, claiming the Omni-Kix Key and transforming into the cosmic entity Alien V. He kills Ben's Galvanic Mechamorph clone Glitch.

Azmuth's call rekindles faith; Way Big joins the roster

Azmuth reaches out to Ben via the Omnitrix and reminds him of the lesson from the trial. With renewed faith, Ben adds Way Big to his arsenal.

Way Big defeats Vilgax; Earth repaired; Vilgax detained

With Way Big, Ben defeats Vilgax. Azmuth uses the Omnitrix to repair the Earth and takes Vilgax into custody.
