Three cousins, Divya Prakash aka ‘Kunju’ Nazriya Nazim Fahadh, Krishnan P.P. aka ‘Kuttan’ Nivin Pauly, and Arjun aka ‘Aju’ Dulquer Salmaan, have shared a deep bond since childhood, a thread that keeps their lives tied together through laughter, dreams, and the trials of growing up. Each of them carries a different path: Kunju is on her feet with graduation behind her and an MBA dream ahead, Aju moves freely as a bike mechanic who refuses to be boxed in, and Kuttan remains anchored to his hometown at heart even as his career pulls him toward the city.

Kunju’s life takes a practical turn when her parents’ astrologer advises an arranged match. She is forced to marry Shivadas, known as Das, a successful workaholic who is more oriented toward his career than toward love. The wedding sends Kunju to Bangalore, a city that will soon become the ground for her quests for belonging, identity, and a sense of self-worth. Kuttan follows for work, while Aju follows a different calling in the same urban maze, joining a biker gang and earning his keep as a skilled mechanic. The trio remains close, their bond a quiet harbor amid shifting fortunes.

Behind the glossy doors of Das’s life, Kunju finds herself emotionally isolated as Das largely ignores her. Her only real solace is the time she spends with her cousins, whose own lives are not without their own complications. Meanwhile, Kuttan, with a simple, traditional view of love, falls for Meenakshi, an air hostess he meets on a Bangalore-Kochi flight. He tries to transform himself—shedding his reserved pace for something more modern and confident—but the relationship falls apart when Meenakshi’s ex-boyfriend resurfaces, and Kuttan discovers that her heart isn’t fully free.

Across town, Aju’s own romance develops with a radio jockey named Sarah, a witty and spirited woman who, to his surprise, is paraplegic. Their friendship grows into something deeper as they navigate the barriers of her disability and the realities of a long-distance future—Australia beckons for her on a university scholarship. The juxtaposition of these love stories adds texture to a life already crowded with personal ambitions, professional pressures, and family obligations.

As Kunju and Das’ marriage strains toward divorce, a long-buried past comes into sharper focus. Das was once a fearless bike racer under a different name—Shiva—and led a biker gang. His love for Natasha Francis, a bright and passionate woman, ended in tragedy when an accident took her life. Kunju, sensing the weight of Das’s guilt and the memories that haunt him, decides to return to Bangalore and push for an honest future. She mends the broken trust by arranging a meeting with Natasha’s parents, offering Das a chance to confront his past and seek redemption. Through this painful process, Das begins to forgive himself, and Kunju’s capacity for compassion helps to repair their damaged bond; slowly, their marital life starts to stabilize again.

Kuttan’s mother, a figure who embraces the vibrancy of urban Indian culture, travels toward a new life in Oklahoma with his sister in tow, while Kuttan’s world is reshaped by the prospect of managing his responsibilities back home. The moment of departure is underscored by a chance encounter at the airport with Meenakshi, who reveals that her current relationship has run its course and that she will be waiting for a call that may never come. Caught between old attachments and new possibilities, Kuttan must decide whether to pursue a future in Bangalore or accept that some loves belong to another chapter.

On the racing track, Aju gets a shot at a high-stakes race on the same day Sarah departs for Australia. With Kunju, Kuttan, and Das cheering him on, he crosses the finish line first, a victory that becomes a revelation about what truly matters. In that moment, Aju realizes how deeply Sarah has influenced his life, and he asks her to stay. Moved by his sincerity, Sarah chooses to forgo the scholarship and remain in Bangalore, where she and Aju can begin anew together.

In a final turn of events, Kuttan’s life reaches a milestone when he marries his neighbor in Bangalore, a foreign dancer named Michelle who has embraced Indian culture with grace and curiosity. The film closes with Kunju, Das, Aju, and Sarah returning to their shared space, the old room that has borne witness to so many chapters, and posing for a photograph that captures a moment of hard-won peace and continued friendship. The image symbolizes not only the endurance of kinship but the possibility of new beginnings built on forgiveness, resilience, and the courage to chart a life that honors every part of their journey.
