Anghel, Robin Padilla is a troubled, carefree young man who grew up under Ramon, a crime lord respected in their territory. He first crosses paths with Annie, a woman from a wealthy family, when Annie’s brother Neil and his gang bully him. To make amends, Annie invites Anghel to their family resthouse and teaches him the basics of self-defense. Before long, they fall in love, much to the dismay of Annie’s parents and Neil.

When Annie turns 18, she invites Anghel to a party, but the night ends badly for him and he wrecks the celebration, which leads to his imprisonment. While behind bars, it’s revealed that Annie had become pregnant, but her family coerced her into an abortion, and the baby is lost. After his release, with help from Cora, Anghel clashes again with Neil’s gang over Ramon’s territory. Junior Bahala steps in to save them, but the showdown leaves scars all around. Neil and his gang are publicly humiliated—made to march naked through the streets—yet Anghel spares Neil, acting on a plea from Annie’s family.

A new danger arrives when a drug lord named Johnny Roa infiltrates Ramon’s territory, selling drugs and winning loyalty from some of Ramon’s men. During this turbulent time, Anghel learns from his mother that he is the son of the infamous criminal Baby Ama. Ramon shares how he and Baby Ama became close while in prison, but their conversation is cut short by an imminent war as Johnny’s men close in. Anghel shaves his head in response to this devastating revelation, while Ramon loses his life in the ensuing conflict. It’s later revealed that Ramon’s trusted associate Boy Dugas betrayed the group, and Anghel mercilessly kills him.

Annie’s fate takes a brutal turn when Mark—one of Neil’s associates—lures her into a supposed meeting with friends, drugs her, and she is gang-raped and killed. Neil learns what happened to his sister and seeks Anghel’s help to pursue revenge. Grief-stricken by Annie’s death, Anghel reconciles with Neil and together they hunt down and eliminate Annie’s killers, one by one. In the course of these actions, Anghel discovers that Neil’s former gang bought drugs from Johnny Roa, the man who planned Ramon’s demise. Fuelled by vengeance, Anghel goes to Johnny’s hideout alone to finish the syndicate.

Anghel attends Annie’s funeral at the invitation of her surviving family, including Neil. At the cemetery, a warrant of arrest is presented, and Anghel surrenders. As he leaves the grounds, he spots Cora, who gives him one last embrace before he is led away to prison, while the other prisoners chant the name of his real father, Baby Ama.

Revenge Justice

Violence escalates as betrayals expose the cost of revenge. Anghel's pursuit of vengeance against Johnny Roa and Boy Dugas complicates his bond with Ramon and Neil. Family Loyalty

The narrative hinges on found family ties—Anghel's bond with Ramon, and his ties to Annie's family. The revelation of Anghel's paternity by Baby Ama adds a layer of lineage and duty that conflicts with his personal desires. Characters weigh loyalty to kin against loyalty to friends and lovers. The violence becomes a mechanism to protect or repay those we consider family.
