As Evelyn works to mend the rift between Chicago’s factions, the architects of Jeanine’s coup are brought to justice for their misdeeds, while Johanna steps away from the struggle, taking many newly initiated Allegiants with her. In a bold move, Tris and Four execute a daring escape from the city, managing to free Caleb (Ansel Elgort), Tori, Christina, and Peter from their captors.
