Meet-cute on trains and at a wedding

Karthik, a free-spirited software engineer from a wealthy startup family, meets Shakthi, a medical student, during a friend's wedding and again on the local commuter trains. Their frequent encounters spark a romantic connection as she remains cautious but intrigued. The attraction deepens and they start envisioning a future together.

Karthik asks for Shakthi's hand

Karthik pursues Shakthi and convinces her to marry. He asks his parents to formally approach Shakthi's parents for consent. The families meet in hopes of blessing the union, but the harmony is fragile.

The accident and the truth surfaces

Karthik goes to pick up Shakthi as usual, but she rushes home and is involved in a serious accident. She is rushed to the hospital and is registered under another name, slipping into a coma after brain surgery. An IAS officer, Ram, claims he caused the accident to protect her.

A revelation changes everything

Karthik vents his frustration on Ram, only to be confronted by Ram's wife, who reveals that Shakthi caused the accident and Ram was protecting her by taking blame. This revelation reframes the fault and the responsibility for the tragedy. Karthik resolves to be a better husband going forward.
