Back at the Bull Demon King’s home, Zixia and Qingxia discuss the possibility of a quiet married life with the demon lord. Zixia soon confronts Princess Iron Fan and her son Red Child, triggering a clash that leaves the Bull Demon King scrambling to stall for time. Joker and the Longevity Monk manage a narrow escape after stealing the Bull King’s fiery wheels, and the trio seeks refuge at Xiang Xiang’s palace. There they face a brutal test: Xiang Xiang devours a man whole, and Zixia discloses the truth about her past demise to Joker while the Longevity Monk’s theme music underscores their precarious situation. The Bull Demon King arrives to confront Xiang Xiang about a former lover named Mantis, a memory Xiang Xiang clings to even as she is drawn into the chaos.

As the wedding preparations progress, Xiang Xiang’s appetite draws the scrutiny of all, and the Bull Demon King and Xiang Xiang realize that Joker and Zixia’s bond threatens their plans. The Longevity Monk amplifies the moment with the ensemble’s main motif, and the trio’s kiss between Joker and Zixia becomes a spectacle watched by all, including Xiang Xiang and the Bull Demon King. Longevity Monk has become a Buddha, and his parents stay as the wick for the Buddha’s Lamp, until the Jade Emperor returns with news that the Sealed Book has changed again, leaving the fate of their world poised on a fresh turn of the wheel.
