Yolanthe Cabau, born Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen on 19 March 1985 in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain, is a Spanish‑Dutch actress, model and television host whose career has spanned more than two decades. The daughter of Spanish entrepreneur Xavier Cabau—often dubbed the “King of Ibiza”—and Dutch mother Richarda “Rici” van Kasbergen, she grew up amid the vibrant nightlife of the island before a turbulent childhood marked by domestic violence forced her family to relocate to the Netherlands when she was five. After completing high school at seventeen, Cabau pursued acting, debuting in the Dutch film Snowfever (2004) and quickly establishing herself with a role in Costa! (2005). She gained widespread recognition through the long‑running soap opera Onderweg naar morgen (2005‑2008) and the controversial short film Turkse chick (2006), which earned a Gouden Kalf nomination despite public backlash over a daring sex scene that Cabau later regretted.
