Shiho Niiyama was a remarkably talented Japanese voice actress whose career, though tragically brief, left an indelible mark on the anime industry during the 1990s golden age of Japanese animation. Born on March 21, 1970, in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan, she began her professional journey in 1992 when she joined the prestigious Aoni Production talent agency, quickly establishing herself as a versatile performer capable of portraying a wide spectrum of characters with remarkable emotional nuance and vocal range.
