Shaun Parkes (born 9 February 1973) is a well-regarded English actor recognized for an extensive body of work. He is best known for his roles as Koop in the movie Human Traffic and Izzy Buttons in the blockbuster The Mummy Returns. At a young age of 16, Parkes showed his passion for the arts by enrolling at Seltec College to study drama, furthering his craft two years later at the renowned institution, RADA. His early career saw him in both theatre and television support roles, leading up to his breakthrough performance in the 1999 film Human Traffic. Parkes' diverse body of work includes significant roles in films such as Clubbed, The Mummy Returns, Things to Do Before You're 30, and the critically acclaimed Notes on a Scandal.

In addition to his film and television performances, Parkes has also forged an impressive career in theatre.
