Sasha Bianca Lane, born on September 29, 1995, is a talented American actress. She shot to fame with her debut role in American Honey (2016), directed by Andrea Arnold. Following this, she was cast as Hunter C-20 in the first season of Loki on Disney+, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Born in Houston, Texas, Lane was raised in Dallas, Texas. Her diverse ethnic background comprises of an African-American father and a mother of New Zealander Māori descent. Her parents' divorce led her to move multiple times around Dallas with her mother before finally settling in Frisco, Texas. She has one brother, Sergio D'Arcy. Sasha had her early education in Liberty High School, where she excelled in athletic activities, particularly in basketball and track and field teams. Her early working experience includes a stint at On the Border in Frisco. After high school graduation in 2014, she briefly attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

Lane's career took off with American Honey (2016), where she shared the screen with Shia LaBeouf and Riley Keough. The film bagged the Prix du Jury at the Cannes Film Festival and received a limited release by A24. Her following projects include Born in the Maelstrom, Hearts Beat Loud, and The Miseducation of Cameron Post, which was well received and won the Top Prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Lane continued to showcase her talent in films like Hellboy (2019) and Daniel Isn't Real (2019). In 2020, she starred in an episode of Amazing Stories for Apple TV+ and Utopia on Amazon Prime. Her future projects include Twisters, directed by Lee Isaac Chung, and Conversations with Friends, based on Sally Rooney's debut novel. On a personal front, Sasha came out as bisexual in 2015 and later as gay in 2018. She became a mother in 2020. Sasha also acknowledges living with schizoaffective disorder.
