Sarah Lind (born July 22, 1982) is a Canadian actress whose career spans more than two decades, beginning with her breakthrough role as Dee Sampson on the teen fantasy series Mentors in 1998. Raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, she is the daughter of Jacqueline Rooney, a casting director who introduced her to the entertainment industry at an early age. Lind quickly gained recognition after being cast as Jen MacMahon, one of the central characters on the CBC teen drama Edgemont, a part she sustained through all five seasons, cementing her status as a staple of Canadian television. In 2005 she showcased her versatility by headlining the feature film Fetching Cody opposite Jay Baruchel and delivering a chilling performance as Rita in the horror picture Severed, also known as Severed: Forest of the Dead. That same year she expanded her repertoire with roles in the independent drama A Simple Curve and the television movie Selling Innocence, demonstrating a capacity for both comedic and dramatic material. A notable pivot came in 2011 when Lind joined the action‑packed series True Justice, starring alongside Steven Seagal as Sarah Montgomery, a role she reprised throughout the show’s two‑season run. She later assumed the title role in the direct‑to‑video sequel The Exorcism of Molly Hartley (2015), taking over from Haley Bennett and bringing a fresh intensity to the horror franchise. Continuing to balance film and television, she led the 2016 TV movie Hidden Truth and appeared in the 2018 thriller Last Night (also marketed as Shattered Memories).
