Sara Stewart, born Sara Scott Griffith on 28 June 1966 in Edinburgh, Scotland, is a versatile Scottish actress whose career has spanned more than three decades. The daughter of American parents, she spent part of her childhood in the United States before returning to the United Kingdom, where she honed her craft at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. After graduating, Stewart made London her home and quickly became a familiar face on both stage and screen, earning a reputation for her chameleon‑like ability to embody a wide range of characters.
