Romany Romanic Malco Jr. (born November 18, 1968) is an American actor, rapper, and music producer, particularly known for his roles in hit films such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Baby Mama (2008), Think Like a Man (2012) and its sequel Think Like a Man Too (2014), and The DUFF (2015). He is also recognized for his roles in TV, notably Conrad Shepard on the Showtime series Weeds (2005–2012) and Rome Howard on the ABC series A Million Little Things (2018–2023). He has been honoured with several nominations for prestigious awards, like the NAACP Image Award, MTV Movie Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award. He is credited with writing the rap lyrics for the character of MC Skat Kat in Opposites Attract. Apart from acting, Romany had a significant stint in the music industry. He formed the rap group R.M.G, which was later renamed to College Boyz. Their single Victim of the Ghetto was a hit and peaked at #2 on the rap charts. He also worked as a music producer on The Pest, a film that catalyzed his transition towards acting.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Malco has roots in Trinidad and Tobago. He lived in Baytown, Texas, during his childhood years and attended Ross S. Sterling High School. Before his acting and music career kicked off, Malco served in the United States Marine Corps from 1987 to 1991. In his personal life, Romany married former ice skater Taryn Dakha in 2008, but the couple divorced in 2016. He became a father in 2021 when his son was born. Malco is thoughtful and outspoken, as evidenced by a piece he wrote for the Huffington Post on the Trayvon Martin verdict, criticizing the media's use of the case for ratings and profit, and calling for an end to harmful stereotypes.
