Reinaldo Marcus Green is an American film director, producer, and writer whose work has quickly earned critical acclaim for its thoughtful storytelling and social relevance. Born on December 16, 1981 in the Bronx, New York, Green spent his formative years split between the Bronx and Staten Island, a multicultural upbringing that would later inform the nuanced characters and settings of his films. After graduating from Port Richmond High School, he pursued a Master of Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University and briefly taught elementary school before entering the corporate world, where he worked for five years at AIG overseeing educational programming and talent acquisition.
