Owen Philip King is an American author and television producer born on February 21, 1977, in Bangor, Maine. As the son of legendary horror author Stephen King and novelist Tabitha King, and the younger brother of bestselling writer Joe Hill (Joseph Hillström King), Owen grew up in a household steeped in literary tradition alongside his sibling Naomi King. Despite the weight of his family legacy, King has carved out his own distinct voice in contemporary fiction, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University after completing his undergraduate studies at Vassar College. Raised in Bangor, Maine, he developed an early passion for storytelling that would eventually translate into a multifaceted career spanning novels, graphic literature, and screenwriting.
