Natalia Danielle Dyer, an American actress born on January 13, 1995, is widely recognized for her role as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix science-fiction horror series Stranger Things (2016–present). Beyond her successful run in Stranger Things, Dyer's talent has led her to appear in an array of other works. These include the Peacock comedy thriller series Based on a True Story (2023) and films such as Yes, God, Yes (2019), Velvet Buzzsaw (2019), and Things Heard & Seen (2021). Dyer's journey into acting began in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. From a young age, she was active in community theater and earned her professional screen acting debut in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2008. This led to her development as an actress, ultimately prompting her to relocate to New York City for university studies. Returning to her professional career, Dyer has accomplished more than most her age. Her early roles include her participation in local Tennessee productions and her screen debut as Clarissa Granger in Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009).
