Miruna Lisara Magar, born on July 18, 1994, in Hong Kong, is one of the most prominent and highest-paid actresses in Nepali cinema today. Although she was born in Hong Kong, her family returned to Nepal when she was just two years old, and she spent her early childhood in Dharan until the age of twelve. Her father served in the British Army's Royal Gurkha Rifles, which led the family to migrate to London when she was twelve, where she completed her schooling. She returned to Nepal in 2016 and seized the opportunity to learn acting, eventually making her film debut in 2018 with Lalpurja, where she also appeared in Rose in the same year. In the years that followed, Magar established herself as a leading figure in Nepali cinema, starring in films such as Saino and Cha Cha Hui in 2019, where her performances were praised despite the films receiving negative critical reception.
