Mike Pence served as the 48th Vice President of the United States from January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021, under President Donald Trump. Before his vice presidency, Pence held the position of the 50th Governor of Indiana from January 14, 2013, to January 9, 2017. During his tenure, he initiated the largest tax cut in Indiana's history and was an outspoken supporter of the coal industry. Pence marked a significant presence in U.S political congress holding various positions including the Chair of the House Republican Conference and member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Indiana.
