Michael D. Cohen (born 22 November 1975) is a talented actor hailing from Canada. He is famously known for his portrayal of character Schwoz Schwartz in the popular television series Henry Danger and its spinoffs, The Adventures of Kid Danger and Danger Force. Early Life: Born in Winnipeg, Cohen commenced transitioning from female to male in his twenties. This personal information was publicly disclosed only in 2019. Cohen moved with his family to Richmond, British Columbia at age 10 where he developed a deep admiration for Carol Burnett and other actors on The Carol Burnett Show. This inspiration triggered his aspiration to become an actor and writer. Career: After moving to Toronto post-college, where he studied acting, Cohen's first job was a voice-over for the animated TV series Pippi Longstocking. His career path then led him to feature in Moville Mysteries, Queer as Folk, Doc, RoboRoach, and Henry's World. He has a national Moc Docs award for Best Mockumentary for his short film 'Jew Jube Lives'. For his exceptional voice work as Ty Archer in the animated TV series Grossology, he along with the team got nominated for a Gemini Award (Canadian equivalent of an Emmy). Recent Works: Since 2014, Cohen has been associated with the sitcom Henry Danger, a role he continues in the spinoff series Danger Force. He has appeared in shows such as Modern Family, The Real O'Neal's, 2 Broke Girls, The Mindy Project, Backstrom, Eagleheart, and Austin & Ally. Also, his film credits add Suburbicon, directed by George Clooney with Coen brothers as the writers; the Oscar-nominated film Whiplash; and the Canadian Screen Award-nominated film It Was You Charlie, for which he got an ACTRA Award nomination.
