Melissa Fahn is an American actress and coloratura soprano best known for her versatile voice work in animation, video games, and stage productions. Born on July 27, 1973 in Long Island, New York, she grew up as the youngest of four children in a musically‑inclined family; her father Michael was a jazz drummer who encouraged her to explore singing and acting alongside her early passion for dance, which she began at age three. After the family relocated to Huntington Beach, California, Fahn participated in community theater and toured with the youth performance group Young Americans, later attending California State University, Long Beach for a brief stint in dance before committing fully to a professional career. While working as a receptionist, her vocal talent caught the attention of a casting director, leading to her first voice‑over role in The Betty Boop Movie Mystery and launching a prolific career that includes iconic characters such as Gaz Membrane in Invader Zim, Dendy in OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes, Hello Kitty in Hello Kitty's Paradise, and Himawari Uzumaki in Boruto. She has also voiced Radical Edward in Cowboy Bebop, Neptune across the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, and multiple incarnations of Rider in the Fate/Stay Night franchise. On stage, Fahn was a member of the original Broadway ensemble for Wicked, later understudying the role of Glinda both on Broadway and in the Los Angeles sit‑down production.
