Mark Ronson is a British‑American disc jockey, record producer, songwriter and remixer whose career has spanned over three decades, beginning in 1993 when he first gained notice on the New York club circuit. Born Mark Daniel Ronson on 1975‑09‑04 in Notting Hill, London, he moved to New York City at age eight and was raised in a musically rich environment that included his stepfather, Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones.
