Maria Luisa Lucia Allasio, known professionally as Marisa Allasio, was born on July 14, 1936, in Turin, within the Kingdom of Italy. Rising to prominence during the golden age of Italian cinema in the 1950s, Allasio established herself as one of the most recognizable faces of the economic miracle era, embodying the quintessential Italian sex symbol with her striking beauty and charismatic screen presence. Between 1952 and 1958, she built an impressive filmography comprising nearly twenty films, working with some of the most celebrated directors of the period including Mario Camerini, Luigi Capuano, Dino Risi, and Franco Zeffirelli. This union elevated her to the title of Countess of Bergolo, marking a dramatic transition from silver screen stardom to aristocratic duties. The couple welcomed two children: Count Carlo of Bergolo, born in Rome in 1959, and Countess Anda of Bergolo, born in the eternal city in 1962.
