Lynn Gilmartin (born 3 November 1984 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Australian‑American actress and television presenter who has become one of the most recognizable faces in the international poker broadcasting scene. She began her media career in 2009 as a reporter for PokerNews and PokerStars.tv, travelling to major festivals such as the World Series of Poker and the European Poker Tour and quickly establishing a reputation for insightful, energetic coverage. In 2012 she broke onto Australian and UK television as the host of Crown’s Aussie Millions Poker Championship, and the following year she added sideline reporting duties for ESPN Australia’s World Series of Poker Asia Pacific coverage. The move to Los Angeles in late 2013 marked a pivotal moment, when she was appointed anchor of the World Poker Tour on Fox Sports Networks, working alongside legends Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten while also producing and anchoring the high‑roller series WPT Alpha 8. Her visibility rose further when she appeared on the December 2013 cover of Bluff magazine and later hosted the 2018 American Poker Awards. Parallel to her broadcasting success, Gilmartin launched a film career in 2018 with a role as Gemma in Museo, a movie that earned a Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the Berlin International Film Festival, and she has since added credits in titles such as How Do You Know Chris?, The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee, Kidnapped and This Little Love of Mine. In January 2020 she was inducted into the Australian Poker Hall of Fame, an honour that recognised more than a decade of contributions to poker media. That same year she made her first acting appearance on the long‑running soap Neighbours, playing Jessica Quince in a storyline that aired in April.
