Lisa Cholodenko (born June 5, 1964) is an acclaimed American screenwriter and director, conceived in San Fransisco, who has significantly impacted the film industry. Her notable works include High Art (1998), Laurel Canyon (2002), and The Kids Are All Right (2010). Her contributions also extend to television where she directed widely recognized miniseries such as Olive Kitteridge (2014) and Unbelievable (2019).
