Larissa Manoela (born Larissa Manoela Taques Elias Santos on 28 December 2000) is a Brazilian actress, singer, writer and entrepreneur who rose to prominence as a child star and has become one of the most followed audiovisual personalities among teens in Latin America. Born in Guarapuava, Paraná, she is the only daughter of Silvana Taques, an educator of Italian Veneto descent, and Gilberto Elias Santos, a real‑estate consultant with Portuguese roots from Porto. Her career began at the remarkable age of four when a talent scout discovered her in a local supermarket, leading to early modeling work with the Projeto Passarela and commercial appearances that paved the way for her first television role on GNT’s series Mothern at six. The breakthrough came in 2012 with the role of Maria Joaquina in the children’s telenova Carrossel and later as the twin sisters Isabela and Manuela in Cúmplices de um Resgate, performances that cemented her status as a beloved youth icon.
