Laia Costa Bertrán, born on 18 February 1985, is a renowned Spanish actress who started her acting career at the age of 26 after earning degrees in advertising, public relations, and marketing, as well as a PhD in political science and media studies. Over her career, she has worked predominately in Spain, but also has credits in other countries like Russia, Germany, Argentina, Italy, the UK, and the US. Her first international recognition came from her portrayal of the lead character in the critically acclaimed German thriller Victoria (2015).
