Kim Dickens, an American actress, made her cinematic debut in the comedy film 'Palookaville' in 1995. After which, she played leading roles in 'Truth or Consequences, N.M.' (1997), 'Zero Effect' (1998), and 'Mercury Rising' (1998). Over the years, she appeared in a string of well-known films including 'Great Expectations' (1998), 'Hollow Man' (2000), 'House of Sand and Fog' (2003) amongst others. Additionally, she has made notable appearances in 'Thank You for Smoking' (2005), 'Gone Girl' (2014), and 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' (2016).

On the small screen, Dickens had regular roles in the drama series 'Deadwood' (2004–2006; 2019), 'Treme' (2010–2013), and 'House of Cards' (2015–2017). She is also known for her portrayal of Madison Clark in the AMC horror drama series 'Fear the Walking Dead' (2015–2018; 2022–2023). She had her early education in Huntsville, Alabama, and Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Post her formal education, she pursued acting studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Dickens made her stage debut in a student production at Vanderbilt University. Over the years, she has also made a significant impact in theatre with her performances; making her one of the most versatile actresses of her time.
