Kenneth To King-him (7 July 1992 – 19 March 2019) was a Hong Kong‑Australian competitive swimmer whose versatility spanned the individual medley, freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke, earning him a reputation as one of the most accomplished athletes of his generation. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Australia from the age of two, To began swimming at five after an initial fear of water, rapidly advancing through his primary school program and emerging as a dominant junior talent with medals at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games and the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival. His breakthrough came in 2009 when he shattered Ian Thorpe’s long‑standing Australian record in the 200 m individual medley, a feat that signaled his arrival on the senior stage.
