Jérôme Niel: Movies & Box Office

Jérôme Niel, also known as Jérôme Puydebat, is a notable French humorist, choreographer, writer, comedian, and video producer. Born on June 14, 1985, Niel embarked on a diverse career encompassing multiple fields of entertainment, working primarily for the French cable TV channel Canal+. His career took a turn after graduating with a specialization in economics and social sciences, leading to a brief stint as a gardening tools salesman before attending university to study languages. A move to Paris brought him into the world of radio, where he worked as a switchboarder for RMC. Whilst juggling his radio job, he began uploading videos on YouTube, which were eventually noticed by MTV, leading to forty episodes being shot. In May 2013, his web series 'Groom Service in Montreux' caught the eye of Le Grand Journal team, marking the start of his journey with Canal+. Although presenter Michel Denisot stopped presenting Le Grand Journal, this didn't affect Niel, who continued to create engaging content, his work sprawling into the internet with 'Les Tutos' under Studio Bagel and a daily miniseries 'Speakerine' broadcasted in Le Grand Journal. In response to the Paris Attacks, Niel participated in the 'Imagine Paris' video, where he, along with thirty other YouTubers, covered John Lennon's famous song 'Imagine'.
