Hayden Chun Hay Szeto is a Canadian actor of Hong Kong descent, impressively known for his leading role as Erwin Kim in the brilliantly received comedy-drama film The Edge of Seventeen (2016). In 2017, he further cemented his talents, portraying the character Ken Luang in the NBC popular comedy series The Good Place. Szeto was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he was raised in Richmond, hailing from a family rich with artistic talent. His father, Nigel Szeto, is a well-rated painter, while his paternal grandfather, Kei Szeto, was a revered Chinese sculptor, and his great-grandfather Szeto Mei established a reputation as a notable poet. Educationally, Szeto studied sociology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
