Freddie Nelle Webb (born November 24, 1942 in Manila, Philippines) is a multifaceted Filipino public figure whose career spans professional sports, politics, and broadcasting. He first rose to prominence on the basketball court, starring for the Letran Knights from 1960 to 1964 before joining the powerhouse YCO Painters in the Manila Industrial and Commercial Athletic Association (MICAA). During his decade‑long stint with YCO, Webb helped the team capture the 1975 MICAA championship and earned a national open title in 1967, marking him as one of the era’s most versatile forwards. His talent also earned a place on the Philippine national team that competed at the 1972 Munich Olympics, making him part of a historic squad that showcased the country’s growing basketball prowess. After retiring as a player in 1978, Webb transitioned to coaching, leading YCO‑Tanduay (1981‑1983) and the Shell Azodrin Bugbusters (1985) in the newly formed Philippine Basketball Association, and briefly returning to his alma mater to guide the Letran Knights in 1975.
