Emily Rios (born April 27, 1989) is a highly regarded American actress and model who has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry. She is particularly renowned for her compelling portrayal of Andrea Cantillo on the iconic AMC series Breaking Bad. Her performance in this role garnered much praise and put her in the spotlight as a promising talent. This was not Rios' only notable role, she further expanded her portfolio with a key role in the FX series The Bridge in 2013, where she depicted the character of a newspaper reporter, Adriana Mendez. Apart from these, she has also starred as Lucía Villanueva in another gripping FX drama Snowfall, further emphasizing her versatility and range as an actress. Rios boasts a dynamic acting career starting from her discovery during a routine day out at a shopping mall which led to her appearance in the 2005 short film For Them and the 2006 film Quinceañera. As she continued to refine her craft, she secured roles in the independent film Vicious Circle in 2008, and recurring roles in acclaimed TV series like Friday Night Lights, Men of a Certain Age, Breaking Bad, The Bridge, and From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. One of her most recent roles was Lucia Villanueva, where she played the daughter of a Mexican crime boss, in Snowfall that premiered on FX on July 5, 2017. She eventually left the show after two seasons.
