Donna Biscoe, (born September 30, 1955) is an American actress who was born in Fort Benning, Georgia. She is the daughter of Mildred Skillern, a retired high school English teacher. Her formative years were integral to the development of her career, commencing her education at Carver, followed by her graduation from Kendrick High School in 1973, and later earning a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Clark Atlanta University. Seeking further refinement in her acting prowess, she attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York for six months.

In the 1980s, while working as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, her acting career took off after being discovered by a casting agent. Her acting prowess saw her bring characters to life in both stage and screen, where she notably played Martin Luther King Jr.'s mother in A Boy King at the Atlanta Children’s Theater. Biscoe worked in theatre during the 80s and 90s, highlighting her versatile act in performances such as Doubt, To Kill A Mockingbird, Waiting To Be Invited, Holiday Heart, Homebody Kabul, Our Town and Fences. She transitioned into film in the 2000s, featuring predominantly as mothers or grandmothers. In 2008, she also ran a Pilates studio in downtown Atlanta, demonstrating a dedication to fitness amidst her bustling acting career.
