David William Albert "Dai" Rosser, born on 27 March 1938 in Portsmouth, England, is a distinguished English former international rugby union player who played as a centre. Born to a Welsh father and an English mother, Rosser's heritage reflects the rich sporting traditions of the British Isles, though he would go on to represent England on the international stage. He received his early education at Rochdale Grammar School, where he likely began developing the athletic skills that would later define his career. Following his secondary education, Rosser pursued higher studies at Christ's College, Cambridge, one of the most prestigious institutions within the University of Cambridge.
