Daniel Diemer was born on 21 June 1996 in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada, the son of a tennis coach and brother to Aaron. From a young age he pursued sports, playing soccer at five before switching to tennis after a growth spurt slowed his speed, only to have a back injury end his athletic ambitions. He enrolled in pre‑medical courses at Camosun College but took a hiatus to model for an art class, a decision that sparked his interest in performance. Relocating to Vancouver, he attended acting masterclasses and later graduated from the Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2016, honing his craft in film and television acting. His first on‑screen appearance came in a Sidney York music video in 2014, followed by a modest role in the 2016 film Bloody Blacksmith and participation in several short films between 2017 and 2018.
