Dan Mintz is an American actor, comedian, and television writer best known for voicing Tina Belcher on the hit animated series Bob's Burgers. Born on September 25, 1981 in Anchorage, Alaska to a Jewish family, Mintz spent his formative years in the remote north before moving to the East Coast to attend Harvard University, where he honed his comedic voice writing for the venerable Harvard Lampoon. His dry, dead‑pan delivery—characterized by a constantly fixed stare and a deliberate avoidance of eye contact—quickly became his signature on stage, a technique he attributes to natural stage fright that he has turned into a comedic asset. After graduation, Mintz secured his first professional writing position on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers, and subsequently contributed to a string of innovative comedies including Last Call with Carson Daly, The Andy Milonakis Show, Human Giant, Lucky Louie, and Important Things with Demetri Martin.
