Columbus Short: Movies & Box Office

Columbus Keith Short Jr. is an American actor and choreographer renowned for performing in movies and TV series such as Stomp the Yard, Cadillac Records, Armored, and The Losers. He rose to fame as a choreographer for Britney Spears's Onyx Hotel Tour and worked with notable choreographer Brian Friedman. The audiences widely appreciated his performance as a series regular in the ABC drama Scandal, where he portrayed the character Harrison Wright. Short's acting talent was first showcased as a dancer in the 2004 movie You Got Served, and he continued to make his presence felt in comedy films such as Accepted in 2006. His other remarkable performances include his roles in the Disney Channel Original Series That's So Raven and ER and Judging Amy.

Short was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to a musically inclined family. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of five and started performing in a youth theater. He was exposed to different schools like Marcos De Niza High School, El Segundo High School, and the Orange County School of the Arts, before choosing to go with the off-Broadway tour of Stomp. He married three times, with Brandi Short, Tanee McCall, and Aida Abramyan, respectively, and fathered a total of four children. His life outside the set was not smooth as he faced legal issues such as domestic violence and assault charge.
