He is the son of acclaimed jazz composer Bill Lee and the younger brother of visionary director Spike Lee, with siblings David Lee, Joie Lee, and cousin Malcolm D. Lee also active in the entertainment industry. Growing up in a household where music, politics, and film intersected, Cinqué absorbed a deep appreciation for storytelling and visual expression.
