Brian Tyree Henry, born on March 31, 1982, is an exceptional American actor. Henry started gaining recognition with his role as the rapper Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles in the FX comedy-drama series Atlanta (2016–2022), a performance that earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. His contributions to the world of television were not limited to Atlanta, given his roles in Boardwalk Empire, This Is Us, and How to Get Away with Murder. 2018 marked a breakthrough year for Henry, cementing his place in the film industry through his roles in Steve McQueen's heist film Widows and Barry Jenkins' romantic drama If Beale Street Could Talk. Over time, he has appeared in several other notable films, such as Child's Play (2019), Joker (2019), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), Bullet Train (2022), and many more. In 2021, he added to his diverse portfolio by joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Phastos in the film Eternals (2021).
